Fiesta Americana has a great location, but that’s about where the positives stop. Service was very inconsistent, with some staff being kind while others acted like they didn’t want to be there. The restaurants had long waits, and once seated, it often took ages to get served. For the amount we paid, I expected smoother operations.
The room also had issues: the shower leaked, and the balcony door didn’t lock properly. When I reported it, maintenance didn’t come until the following day. I don’t think I’ll be returning, as the frustration outweighed the enjoyment.

Fiesta Americana me quedó a deber. La playa estaba bien, pero las instalaciones del resort parecían descuidadas. Los pasillos tenían poca luz y los elevadores tardaban muchísimo. La habitación era amplia, pero tenía un olor a humedad que no desapareció en toda la estancia.
El servicio fue irregular. Algunos empleados eran atentos, pero otros parecían molestos cuando pedíamos algo. Por lo que cobran, pensé que sería una experiencia superior, pero terminó siendo bastante común y decepcionante.

Me quedé en Fiesta Americana y no cumplió las expectativas. Desde el inicio, el check-in fue un desorden, con filas largas y empleados claramente saturados. La habitación estaba aceptable, pero había polvo en los muebles y el baño no estaba tan limpio como debía.
La comida también fue una decepción. Había pocas opciones y para algunos restaurantes pedían reservación, pero nunca había disponibilidad. Lo más incómodo fue la insistencia en vendernos su membresía. Aunque dijimos varias veces que no nos interesaba, nos seguían buscando. No se siente como un lugar que prioriza al huésped.
Fiesta Americana looked good on their website, but the experience wasn’t as polished. Check-in was chaotic, with a long line and very little organization. The staff wasn’t unfriendly, but they seemed overwhelmed. The room itself was okay, but not spotless, we found dust on the furniture and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly.
The food options were limited for the price, and several restaurants required reservations that were nearly impossible to get. What really bothered me was that the sales team approached us repeatedly about their club membership. Even when we explained that we weren’t interested, they kept circling back. It left me feeling like the focus wasn’t really on service, but on selling.
Escogimos Fiesta Americana pensando en un viaje familiar tranquilo, pero la experiencia fue decepcionante. El personal fue amable, pero el servicio era muy lento. Tardaban más de media hora en traerte una bebida, y en vacaciones uno espera algo más ágil.
La habitación estaba descuidada, con pintura cayéndose y poca presión de agua en la regadera. La cama tampoco era cómoda. El hotel en general se siente viejo y falto de mantenimiento. Para ser una cadena reconocida, esperaba mucho más.
I chose Fiesta Americana thinking it would be a comfortable family trip, but we left disappointed. The staff was polite, but service was extremely slow at the restaurants and bars. Waiting over 30 minutes just to get a drink on vacation is not what I had in mind.
The room also wasn’t well maintained—paint peeling, weak shower pressure, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The overall atmosphere felt tired, like the hotel hasn’t been properly updated in years. For a brand like Fiesta Americana, I really expected more.
