¿Cómo cancelar un contrato de tiempo compartido con Sunset Group?
It may be their jobs and livelihoods, but Presidente resorts are not a normal timeshare company. They are a well organised and blatant scam. The salespeople tell ridiculous lies to take advantage of vulnerable people. I'm fairly certain that you aren't a real diamond owner, or if you are, you aren't very good at using a calculator, because I can promise you Presidente ownership hasn't saved anyone money.
I need more information. My mother has two weeks with Presidente Intercontinental and. She no longer wants either and the children do not wish to encumber the deed upon her death.
I wouldn’t buy a timeshare at Presidente. I can’t imagine buying something that requires a long-term commitment but is difficult (or impossible) to resell. There are plenty of other vacation options out there.
My mistake at the sale was believing that they would actually rent out the studio weeks for me. and that they would sell my old timeshare for me if I purchase the Presidente Intercontinental Timeshare. I enjoyed the resort dont get me wrong, it was lovely, but their selling tactics are awful and unfair. I should of read the entire contract before buying, but who has the time or eye diligence to read each and every line? in the end it is my fault, however here's my chance to let people know to learn from my mistake, and read those lines before signing. Especially at the Presidente, like Ive said before, they'll say anything to get you to sign.
Went to Cabo and made the mistake of going to the presentation. What a "SCAM". It's a high pressure sales pitch. If one sales person can't convince you they switch and have another person take over. They did this 4 times with us. They lied to us an totally misrepresented what it was we were buying into. Once we got home we discovered we actually purchased a membership into a third party travel agency that has nothing to do with Holiday Inn Resorts. Once you try asking questions about their operation you'll discover they don't want to deal with you. To make reservations in Cabo you have to call Mexico and they obviously don't want to deal with you either. With the confusing point system they use you'll end up paying more than you would by simply going on the internet. You can get better deals for everything from cruises to hotels. Bottom line is this is a total "SCAM", don't fall for their high pressure sale pitch.
Family recently vacationed there. Be aware of time share or as they call it "vacation package" reps. They are full of lies. Sold our family $10K in vacation weeks. Promised discounted flights, deals all over North American hotels. It was all lies, Nobody outside of Mexico has heard of "Club Grupo Presidente". These people are professional scammers that work for the hotel and target the elderly. I will never vacation there again!!!
While on vacation in Cancun we were invited to a timeshare presentation. The gentleman who invited us told us we would only be there for 90 min. After five hours of conversation we decided to purchase a timeshare, the sales person basically pushed me to purchase the membership. Our sales representative told us we could rent these weeks, make lots of money and we were told how easy it was! Lies! Lies! Lies!
Run from this resort and do not fool with these guys. We went to a presentation and never got our incentive reward, they sales man were pushing me to buy, my husband got mad and said some things to him.. first time I have felt unsafe in Mexico. Stay away!
Those presentations can be intense! I think the hard part isn’t owning the timeshare or the value of it – but trying to get rid of it when you decide you no longer want it.
La verdad es que deberian erradicar a todos esos vendedores de tiempos compartidos, tuve una mala experiencia hace unos años en cancun y me imagino que este y todos los demas resorts se manejan igual , lo mejor es evadir todo esto y ni siquiera asistir a ninguna presentacion , cabe mencionar que tarde casi 6 meses en cancelar mi tiempo compartido , asi que porfavor gente no adquieran ni compren tiempos copartido, gracias y saludos.
