Quejas Comunes:
- El Vendedor afirma que si el cliente no utiliza sus semanas de tiempo compartido, Punta Pacifico/ Encanto Bahía ofrece pagar al cliente un alto precio del renta por semana durante los próximos cinco años para no utilize su tiempo compartido, ya que quieren mantener tantas unidades disponibles para tener suficientes habitaciones para mostrar a otros compradores potenciale.
- Punta Pacifico/ Encanto Bahía utiliza empresas de venta que garantizan la venta de un viejo tiempo compartido dentro de un período de 90 a 120 días. Prometen altos precios de reventa, de manera que puedan inducir a los compradores en la compra de grandes cantidades para su paquete de tiempo compartido en Punta Pacifico/ Encanto Bahía.
- Hacen que los clientes firmen un acuerdo que dice "me doy cuenta y entiende que el depósito de dinero que han acreditado a mi contrato de compra no es cancelable y ni reembolsable, ya que mi contrato de compraventa no tiene provisiones para un período de rescisión." Esta declaración está en oposición al período de rescisión cinco días permitidos por la ley mexicana.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for warning me, I almost joined the presentation at la Jolla.
However after reading your stories I decided not to go there!
I lost 100 pesos deposit, which I won't cry over!
Still after reading your horror stories, I decided I had to do something, so I went and met the taxi with the sales-guy. He asked me why my wife wasn't present and I told him that I came to collect my 100 pesos and that I read on the internet about the "La Jolla Scum". He told me that He had to go to the "La Jolla office" to get my 100 pesos. I grabbed him at his throath, turned him around and pulled him over some wires choking him for 30 seconds. In the mean time the taxi-driver and another guy were shouting and I told them that the best advice I could give them, was to stay away from La Jolla, while soon actions were gone take place landing them in Jail or end up dead.
I took some of his papers and his straw hat and told him he could collect his stuff if he brought me the 100 pesos, he assured me that he would bring back the 100 pesos, however I take this as another "La Jolla" promise!
(The guard at the Gate showed me this morning the hat and the papers, which still haven't been recollected, anyone interested in buying a straw-hat formerly owned by a "La Jolla" sales-guy?).

Knowledge is the best way to prevent a scam. Knowing that msrmceas are out their and how to identify them is key to stopping timeshare scams.Most owners don't know that the first scam was done to them when they purchased the timeshare as the resort staff misled and lied to them.
Unfortunately , once you enter into a contract at La Jolla - you can not get out. We tried within an hour after and were denied , threatened with jail. It is a total scam!! They even asked us to be their decoys by coming back the next day free of charge to just hang out and lay around the pool.
