no compren ni acudan a ninguna presentacion de tiempo compartido si quieren disfrutar sus vacaciones

jamas hicieron lo que prometieron, ya se que mucha gente se queja de lo mismo, pero en realidad estoy desesperada por deshacerme de mi tiempo compartido, ayudenme!!!!!!!

I got duped into visiting the Mayan Palace in Can Cancun by someone in Cancun telling me there would be a 45 minute presentation at the property, and that I would receive 2 bottles of Tequila and a free excursion to Isle de Mujera (which I did receive).

I was taken by cab for 45 minutes to the property and thought I was being kidnapped by the cab driver.
I did not know it was that far from Cancun. The driver kept saying it was 5 minutes more.

When we finally arrived at the property, it looked more like a jungle prison.

I met this guy Joselo at first and he offered me free lunch.

After he had no luck with me, he sicked Alejandro on me. He was a lunatic. After I said no, he kept
changing the story telling me how 4 golf groups would rent my timeshare, and that 3 of them would buy units guaranteed, and that I would make $5400 a year just from that.
I ended up yelling at him and he yelled at me when I told him NO. I said to him What part of NO don't you understand? He was horrible. He offered me his watch and pen if I wanted them and would come back the next day. I should have taken them.

DO not visit this place for any reason!!!!
Even the people who were staying there looked unhappy.

I went to mayan palace because they told me they could buy my 2 weeks at melia, i ended up buying 2 weeks at mayan for a very low price because i had my other timeshare and they bought it, everything was ok, until next years maintenance fees, i realize that nowadays i have 2 timeshare contracts, im really mad about it

compre 2 semanas en Mayan Palace y no he tenido problemas ya que he ido a varias partees de la republica y me ha salido barato, lo que si es recomendable para personas que vacacionan minimo una vez al año

My husband and I went to Acapulco for our honey moon in May 2008 and got scam into buying a timeshare at the Mayan Palace for $10,400. Its was a big mistake. We went for a free tour and end up attending a 3 hours sale presentation. They use a lots of sale tactics to trick you into thinking that everything sounds so good. They told us that if we don't use the 2 weeks that we have, we can rent it out for $1000 each and within 5 years we will get our money back. They said its was a good investment for the long term, the value of the timeshare will go up. All are lies. Timeshare are not like real estate, they will not go up. They didn't even tell us about the cancellation policy. I recently did research online and found out that there were many people in the same situation like us. They are all been scam by the mexico timeshares.

yo habia aceptado para que me dejaran en paz, y sabia que podia cancelar mi tiempo compartido antes de 5 dias, pero cuando fui a cancelar me dijeron que no se podia!!! son unos rateros mentirosos, eso es ilegal! ayudenme!!!!

I have owned timeshare for over 30 years in a 5 star resort. I tried to make an exchange to find that since RCI had gone to the 'point' system, I don't have enough points to make the exchange. I was told that I had to pay my maintenance fees 2 years in advance. So, I did that (not smart). Now i want to cancel, i can't pay it, please help.
