Looking to sell my Timeshare. Not sure how to go about it. Can you help?
My complaint is different and not as financially damaging but here it goes:
I was lured to the timeshare presentation with the promise of $250 US cash. When I exited the timeshare, they refused to pay the $250 cash (even though I had a document stating I was to receive this) and was given $650 in Vidanta dollars instead. When I tried to enter the voucher code to see what the voucher would buy the program said the voucher had already been activated by someone else. Why would anyone want to purchase a timeshare from Vidanta when they scam people to get there in the first place. I plan to go back on Monday but don't expect much. Just makes me mad that I was scammed.
A salesperson at The Bliss sold us a beautiful timeshare in the Riviera Maya and said we could make money out of it by selling the weeks back. Turns out that is not in the contract and they cannot help us do that kind of transcation. They really got us into something we can´t even afford and all with false promises
Vidanta group tricked us into buying a timeshare that had an initial price. When we realized we were charged 2500 usd more than what we agreed, my husband was furious. The sales manager at Vidanta was not willing to work with us to resolve the discrepancies. This is a huge rip off. Do not believe in their presentation with free tickets.
We paid for an upgrade 3 times. Then we realize we were actually paying for one week a year only. I received phone calls all the time about renting or selling, which I always said no because they ask for money upfront. Now I have a company from Arizona call exit asking if I want to be represented to suit Vidanta. Except that he ask for $5,00.00 for retaining fee for a Mexican Attorney. I also have received a call from someone representing himself rom Mexican Tourism office offering his services too. I do not know if it is even worth it trying. I understand that I fell for a Scam and chances of getting my money back are slim to none. Has anyone had a similar experience??
Vidanta was the worst company I have ever dealt with. They tricked us into signing the contract for a Puerto Vallarta Timeshare, and told us many lies just to make money out of us. We ended up owning 37,000 before we knew what hit us. We really can´t hold out the monthly fees anymore and I don´t know how to get rid of this ownership.
