Quejas comunes:

  • Los vendedores ofrecen a los clientes falsas promesas de descuentos en tarifas aéreas, cruceros, alquiler de coches etc
  • Los vendedores afirman que los puntos tienen más valor de lo que realmente tienen con fines de intercambio.
  • Los clientes se envían el contrato completo en un CD a su domicilio. Ellos no reciben una copia completa para revisar y decidir si desean o no de cancelar dentro del período de rescisión cinco días permitidos por la ley mexicana.
  • Los vendedores ofrecen para revender el tiempo compartido antiguo o la entregue o intercambie para que el cliente sólo es responsable de las cuotas de mantenimiento para el nuevo tiempo compartido. Esto nunca sucede.

    I´m tired of be ignored, I have been trying to contact the responsible this timeshare scam and nobody  respond me, if I´m late with my payments they always send me emails to remain me that I need to pay  my  membership but when I sent them my petition of cancellation they disappeared and  never answer my emails and phone calls

    I just want to know if I´m out of my 5 days cancellation period, Can I cancel my membership? Because I´m not happy with some promises they made us and they told us now that they not going to be honored, because there are not in the contract.

    I am very desperate, I went to a presentation of timeshare at El cid and  I ended up by buying a membership, the monthly payments are very high and all the promises that the sales person  said  to us are not in our contract and certainly now the sales person and his manager do not want to take responsibility . I have been emailing them to let them know my desire of canceling the contract. but  they  don’t  answer my emails and when they finally did , they told me in a rude way  that I couldn´t cancel my membership.

    I was scammed by el cid, they sold my something different that I what I thought I was buying because the salesman told me that they would help me to rent my weeks and el cid would take my California timeshare as a part of the deal  but nothing of that happen and I´m worried because I don’t have enough money to pay the membership in full.  My friend  told me that you can help me, I hope you can.

    My husband and I were invited to a timeshare presentation by a  very friendly person. When we were there, we purchased a membership for $35,000 at El Cid and we paid in full. The next day we attempted to cancel our contract at the resort within the 5 day cancellation period, but the seller told us that we couldn´t as we had signed a waiver rescinding our right to cancel the timeshare within 5 day recsission period. We believed him and we returned home, thinking that the only thing that we could do was to use the membership, but when my hunsband found your web page on internet he read an article about the recsission period and we noticed that we were scammed and what the seller told us was a lie.

    hola. sres. primeramente los saludos y les escribo por que ocupo de sus servicios en relacion a un tiempo compartido en el hotel del cid en pyerto morelos
    por los comentarios de este paquete quiero canselar el contrato
    para su conocimiento de enganche o entrada page al rededor de 23.000 pesos con una tarjeta de devito a mi nombre
    la anualidad por mantenimiento es de 500 dolares aproximadamente. esta la cargaran hoy a la cuenta de credito a nombre de mi esposa.
    con mensualidades de 300 dolares. esta es cada dia primero y su servidor tengo que dar la primera mensualidad el dia primero de octubre del presenteaño
    de ser posible me gustaria revisaran el contrato
    sin mas que desir quedo a su entera disposicion . gracias

    I´m very dissatisfied with my membership with el cid, first hey told me that they would rent my weeks but they never did, I let it pass but I always have problems to contact them, they never have availability  for me,  I had my membership for  5 years now and I only been able to used my membership once, and when I used the rooms were dirty, I don’t know what happened with this resort it is supposed to be a good resort. I have been waiting for a long  time to see if it improves the situation, but I am tired of expecting and not seeing improvements

    I have 4 timeshares one of them at El cid vacations club, I was told that buying and renting my timeshare was a good deal, now that I have 4 and I have not been able to  rent even once and less for the price that the resort told me, I´m thinking about giving  away all of them. I know that I spent a lot of money on them, but it is better for my no to invest more money on them.

    I´m so confused because I was told that with my points I will have access to another kind of bedroom, but I have just seen on the official website and the point chart and I realize that it is different to the other one that my sales person show me, I’m scared of becoming a victim of timeshare , but after seeing all these comentarios, I have the worst  foreboding

    We purchased a membership at el cid vacations club and when we return home we have attempted to use the contact information provided to us and could not reach anyone. We have left messages and no messages have been returned. We believe that el cid misrepresented their product, have not delivered the services that they reported to be selling. Therefore, we are looking the cancellation of our contract.
