Quejas comunes de una membresia o tiempo compartido en Sunset:

  • El vendedor promete volver a comprar el tiempo compartido a un mejor precio si el cliente decide que ya no quiere usarlo.

  • El vendedor promete al socio que con su membresia de Sunset Group/Sunset World puede alquilar sus semanas por más de 4 veces el precio de la cuota de mantenimiento. Pueden optar por usar algunas semanas y alquilar otras para tener vacaciones gratis, o alquilarlas todas para poder pagar su membresía más rápido. Los clientes son remitidos a una empresa de alquiler que les cobra una tarifa de cotización para comercializar la propiedad y no alquila ninguna semana.

  • En la presentación afirman que el todo incluido es solo para semanas corporativas, y para semanas regulares pueden elegir si pagar o no el todo incluido. En realidad, todo incluido es obligatorio para el uso en todas sus ubicaciones en Cancún.

    All of you are so dishonest, and we are very angry. We never got what we were promised. These people are a scam. We paid $2,000 and have not yet gotten a chance to go on a vacation. What a scam these people are? We tried to take a vacation, and they never have availability.

    They told me lots of stuff they will going to do, or stuff I'm able to do. Now I found out it was just lots of b.s. out the salesperson's, I don't know how these people sleep at night, but I hope they get really sick.

    I AM LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO RECENTLY WENT TO THE TIMESHARE PRESENTATION FOR SUNSET HOTEL IN CANCUN. I am looking for someone to veryify that they were also given a paper that showed the amount they pay to rent your weeks back to them for advertising. N0w they claim no paper exists. I AM ALSO WILLING TO PAY SOMEONE TO SEND ME A COPY OF THE PAPER. It shows $500.00 for studio and $1,000.00 for 1 bedroom. i was a sucker and bought the timeshare and now they claim they do not rent the weeks back unless i show them the paper and of course they do not give te paper to keep.

    Hola, les pido su ayuda también para cancelar una membresia de Sunset,, resulta que nosotros firmamos el 2 de agosto y solicite la cancelación el día 8 también negándose a la cancelación y como dejamos un pagaré firmado ahora nos dicen que aunque cancelemos, ellos podrán cobrar ese pagare, Durante las firmas del contrato nos hicieron un cobro de 12500 pesos que ahora tampoco nos quieren reembolsar. Ahora nos ofrecen a cambio otra membresia de menor valor y que aceptándola cancelarían dicho pagaré, por favor me podrían orientar en como debo actuar? Muchas gracias por su ayuda. Queremos terminar toda relación con estas personas!

    This is Kafka 21st century. I haven't been using this time share in more than 6 years, since I became a widow and my children have moved away. It seems impossible to get rid of this time share. I have paid thousands of dollars to "agents" that sale them with the insurance that they have a client, and been ripped off, It seems impossible to rent it, and I am stacked with maintenance fees for ever!!!

    Beware of this company.
    Against my better judgement I allowed myself to be pressured into a contract. We have gotten one nice vacation from it so far, but it has not been worth it.
    Twice now we have been harassed for collections of the monthly payment. Once the payment was on time; the second time we didn't get a bill but paid when we were notified it was late. In fact we have paid more than the minimum multiple times to pay down the principle, but I don't think they've applied it to the principle. I'm trying to get the info from them.
    But both times, I have received multiple harassing phone calls, usually three a day. When I called them they can't tell me why they've been calling saying their records show we're up to date.

    In short, this company borders on being a fraudulent scam.

    My wife and I bought a Sunset Group timeshare about 6 years ago and were lied to about receiving a refund for each year we did not use the timeshare. That was the one main reason we bought. They also told us the maintenance fees would not go up. Another lie amongst several others I will not go into. These people are pirates, thieves and liars.

    The salesperson told me if I wasn’t satisfied with my timeshare as the days went on I could sell it back to them. I’ve tried, and now they’re telling me I can’t. Can you guys help me?

    I bought a timeshare recently and in the sales presentation i was told that i didn't have to pay the all inclusive fee for the bonus weeks, only if i use them and i didn't use them and they are still charging it to me.
