Quejas comunes de una membresia o tiempo compartido en Sunset:
- El vendedor promete volver a comprar el tiempo compartido a un mejor precio si el cliente decide que ya no quiere usarlo.
- El vendedor promete al socio que con su membresia de Sunset Group/Sunset World puede alquilar sus semanas por más de 4 veces el precio de la cuota de mantenimiento. Pueden optar por usar algunas semanas y alquilar otras para tener vacaciones gratis, o alquilarlas todas para poder pagar su membresía más rápido. Los clientes son remitidos a una empresa de alquiler que les cobra una tarifa de cotización para comercializar la propiedad y no alquila ninguna semana.
- En la presentación afirman que el todo incluido es solo para semanas corporativas, y para semanas regulares pueden elegir si pagar o no el todo incluido. En realidad, todo incluido es obligatorio para el uso en todas sus ubicaciones en Cancún.

I was told at the presentation at Royal Sunset Cancun that I would be getting rental income from my timeshare and I have not received one payment since we bought it 5 years ago.
HE ENCONTRADO ANOMALIAS EN EL CONTRATO DE TIEMPO COMPARTIDO QUE RAYAN EN FRAUDE Y NECESITO SU ASESORIA PARA DEMANDAR Y RECUPERAR LO QUE HE PAGADO.
LA EMPRESA SE LLAMA SUNSET LAGOON BEACH EN CANCUN.
LA HE ESTADO PAGANDO DESDE DIC. DEL 2006.
NUNCA HE USADO LA MEMBRESIA DE TIEMPO COMPARTIDO.
In 2004, we purchased a vacation/timeshare package at Sunset Fishermans village.
Master Suite 1 week + 1 VIP week (VIP used soley for rental/ investment propery. We were told rental was near 100% Gold season - any time except Christmas, New Years, Holy Week and Easter Included Sunset interclub. (We have never been able to exchange do to no availability when wanted.
The Admiral yacht club was also involved.
We were told that if we were unhappy or things did not work out as promised, Sunset would repurchase the property.
We listed it with as a rental and have never even got a follow up call.
We have only stayed at Fisherman's Village as there is never availablity when we want it and we have the gold package.
During huricane season, we were unable to use the place do to damage. They would not reimburse us the maintanence fee and would only issue credit to use the following year. We were also charged additional dollars for the repairs.
When communicating with them, my experience is that they only answer the questions they want to answer. If they don't like the question, they don't even respond.
I could go on and on.
We do not owe any money to these people. It is not that we couldn't afford it at the time. We were actually looking forward to everything they told us.
Problem is--None of it was true.
I want to get rid of this.
